The Incredible Raspberry Pi Autonomous RC Car Project called Donkey Car

This is truly and incredible project and the essence of what the Raspberry Pi’s success has come to be.

When I got into the Raspberry Pi in 2013 I heard it would be a project for kids to learn coding, I thought it was cool.  Now flash forward to 2018 and we have the Donkey Car project on Github (https://github.com/wroscoe/donkey) .  And their webpage at http://www.donkeycar.com/ .  The Donkey Car project was created by Will Roscoe, Adam Conway, and Chris Anderson.  These guys are in our backyard here in Silicon Valley at Oakland, CA.

Their impressive Donkey Car project brings together less than $200 worth of hardware for researchers and enthusiasts to play and research with Autonomous Cars!  All with a little Raspberry Pi and a Camera ala Tesla…

It’s 2018, where will we go next with the Raspberry Pi?
