Axis Communications is a pioneer and the first vendor to introduce IP Cameras into the market.  

Axis has the highest end cameras available.  We consider their cameras to be the most robust and even military grade available.  The are on the pricier side but for certain installations their products are the absolute best.

LTS Security also sells NDAA Compliant surveillance equipment.  We consider them the value leader for their consitent quality.  LTS Security is a company that sources its products primarily from manufacturers in China, though they are  headquartered in City of Industry, California United States
 
We trust LTS Security for their value and quality.  As a HiKVision OEM they offer some of the most widely used DVRs/NVRs on the market.
 
One special item that they offer (that no one else does at this level) are Hybrid NVRs for compatibility with older systems.  This can allow you to modernize your system while keeping your older analog (CVI, TVI) cameras.

UniFi Protect

Unifi Protect – In the ever-evolving landscape of smart surveillance, Ubiquiti Networks’ UniFi AI cameras stand out as true game-changers. License plate detection with just one letter? UniFi products can be very sleek (some call their look and feel like something Apple would have made.)  Besides their asthetic appeal Unifi has one of the best Apps for viewing and retrieving footage.

Should I get UniFi Protect?
Keep in mind with Ubiquiti Networks if you use their solution you will be locked in to using only proprietary cameras.  That means you cannot mix and match with other 3rd party vendors.  For some people that may be ok, but if you want flexibility with the type of camera you want then the UniFi Protect solution may not be for you.

Blue Iris Security

Video Management Software

The Blue Iris software gets installed on a Windows PC like many high end systems.  This solutions is very flexible and feature rich (like the AI detections, which are excellent.)

 
  • Use up to 64 cameras (webcams, network IP cams, analog cards, or your Windows PC desktop)
  • Capture JPEG snapshots or movies in standard MP4, AVI, advanced DVR, or Windows Media file formats.

License Plate Reader (LPR)

In 2024 we have successfully deployed LPR technology to older cameras using AI detections.  To get alerts on vehicles, people, and license plates we offload AI processing to the cloud.

These deployments were on our clients existing cameras which have no AI intelligence by themselves.  But by having software upload and process images from these cameras to the cloud we can transform older systems with the latest modern features like people and vehicle detection.

Synology Surveillance Station

We specialize in supporting a wide range of video surveillance solutions, many of our clients already own a Synology NAS and have access to Surveillance Center.
 
Synology Surveillance Center offers a robust and user-friendly platform for managing security cameras.  It is not as robust as some of the other solutions, but it can get the job done.
